Congratulations! You’re either moving from one rental to another or in the process of selling or buying your next home. We know that moving is a stressful and costly venture so we decided to put something together to help ease some of your worries, answer frequently asked questions, dispel some myths.
Hiring a Cleaning Service is an act of Selfcare:
In the time of COVID-19, many of us have taken on several responsibilities. We are here to support you. You do not have to do it all, nor should you feel that is the only way to get things done. It is often normalized to think or feel that we can’t or shouldn’t delegate. When the contrary is true, it is important to your mental, physical and emotional health to understand that trying to do everything often comes at the expense of you or your families well being, and just as with anything if you are trying to do everything some things get missed. Sometimes when things are missed that can be a costly endeavor to repair or resolve. We try and make the process of having cleaning done as seamless and worry-free as possible.
Give yourself permission to delegate and take the time you need to nurture and nourish yourself and your loved ones.
Did you know:
Cleaning the inside of a refrigerator can take up to an hour to do properly? The inside of your oven can take another hour. Those are just two items inside of the kitchen and to properly and thoroughly clean the entire room can take for or so hours to complete.
That’s just one room.
What We Do:
We are a part of your transition and moving triage team. We are here to help support, restore, and facilitate a cleaning experience that eases your and the new renters/homeowner’s mind. Our staff is detailed, thorough, and efficient and we offer solutions that help ensure that you have the best experience possible starting with a critical eye on the details that impact the “wow” factor of the home.
How you can Move with Ease:
Move-Out cleaning services are labor and time-intensive. There are a few things that you can do to help make your transition easier and I thought I would share some of those invaluable tips and tricks with you.
Myth: Cancel your cleaners when you’re moving out.
Fact: Having regular cleaning services leading up to your move out can help prepare your home for the final process. It allows your cleaner to target areas of your home that may need more detailed care and attention. As furniture is being shifted and items are being boxed it opens up blind spots that can be addressed which can and will have a direct impact on the time it takes to do the final deep cleaning of your home.
Myth: A home is too messy to clean when you’re getting ready to move
Fact: Your cleaning person can help maintain order as things are being shifted as well as address newly exposed areas. You can also schedule them just to help you pack and organize and manage your budget by scheduling the number of hours you’d like to have them assist you right in your cleaning schedule.
What we Do Not Do & Who You Can Trust:
We do not perform carpet cleaning services and understand that often times repairs are needed for flooring, we have a relationship with & refer our clients to Dreamcatcher Carpet Cleaning & Magnus Anderson Hardwood Flooring for hardwood flooring restoration and installation services.
